AWESOME NEW CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT CENTRE
RFD were commissioned by Arco to deliver their new 13,000ft2 customer engagement centre in the city. The project was designed to deliver a high tech hub for their new venture. Developers Allenby commercial were again instrumental in assisting with delivering the awesome project for Arco.
Branding and image
RFD were also commissioned to extend the Arco brand representation within the interior design scheme with new graphics, artwork and associated safety concepts including arrows, chevrons, materials and safety hatchings associated with the trades and industry.
Meet me in the yellow room
Simple colours and a relaxed play on the safety industry was the design concept which works great and has some fun quirky zones to work and meet.
Benches, writable walls and raw materials were all featured in the spaces
semi enclosed coffee points and mid height working tables were introduced for flexible working
NUMBER ONE NATIONALLY FOR SAFETY
As market leaders Arco offer the widest range of PPE in the UK. Their National Distribution Center holds an impressive 22,000 products and have a network of over 40 branches which cover the UK and Ireland.
Part of our interior architecture design was to expose the ceilings some of which were a concrete soffit and some apexed which we twinned together in two separate zones.
Cool meeting spaces
Enhance company culture with engaging meeting environments
INNER CITY GARDEN
Part of the concept was to create a botanical inspired garden zone away from the main industrial office space this included an outside space and a green feature wall opposite a 5 metre long breakfast bar.
The cafe space features x3 consoles, table football and a table tennis for fun times by the staff
Indoor plants rid the air of bacteria and chemical compounds… and improve people’s moods
Part of the Red Frog brief was to update the Arco image internally to their staff and stakeholders in line with the brand core values. We did this by enhancing and developing their corporate guidelines with some new concepts.
full colour architectural glass meeting boxes were designed in the scheme to add colour
TAKE A SEAT
Benches and flexible workspaces were introduced within the interior design for laptop working and fast meeting zones.
Boss design cocoons and Lyndon furniture was specified and supplied in the scheme
acoustics are becoming ever increasingly important so RFD now professionally assess each office interior design
Seating options provide space for collaboration and concentration
instead of stud walls or glass we fabricated bespoke planters to act as a semi acoustic wall feature which worked great and brought fresh life into the industrial office design
Biophilic design has now been recognised as a wellbeing enhancer in offices so we added some plants!
